Syria war: Anger after Russia vetoes determination at UN

Russia has vetoed a draft determination at the UN Security Council that would have censured a week ago's charged substance assault in Syria and requested that Damascus participate with examiners.

Western partners faulted the Syrian legislature of Bashar al-Assad and US President Donald Trump requested rocket strikes against a Syrian aviation based armed forces base accordingly.

The proposed determination would have upheld an examination on the ground by the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons.

The Syrian government would have been advised to give military data, including flight logs, from the day of the charged assault, and give access to air bases.

It denies it is capable.
